Sgt

Christopher C. Simpson

US Army

Born in Syracuse 7-19-1984

KIA 3-17-2008 In Iraq

He joined the Army in June of 2004 and was stationed with the 1-68 Charlie Company out of Fort Carson CO.  He was on his second tour in Iraq when his humvee was hit with an IED.  He loved what he was doing and was the Commanders driver for a majority of his time while at Fort Carson.  He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him.  He could put a smile on your face in the worst of times

He was the oldest of five siblings and 15 grandchildren. His memory lives on with a foundation set up in his name with Mohawk Valley Community College. and a scholarship at Jordan-Elbridge.

His dream was to become a social studies teacher.
